Hello world!
First posts are never terribly interesting, and this one is certainly no exception... But I'm happy to be here, and from what I've seen, the Dreamwidth community has more types of awesome than Baskin-Robbins has flavors of ice cream. (Great visual, terrible sentence. Sorry.)
School is really busy, but I do have plans for this journal. << wrings hands >> For now, I'm going to use it to meet people, though! If you'd like to be "mutual friends," just let me know.
(Also, I'm going to try the import feature, and bring my LiveJournal over. Be warned that my future journal will probably be entirely unlike the LiveJournal, however. I'm not going to try to give little random updates about my life -- no one really cares, and ultimately I stopped caring as well -- instead I'm hoping to have a space where I can actually do some real writing.)
